NE[O]ASIS- Finalist

NE[O]ASIS was an international competition, by the Ingenious Women Initiative, which aimed at challenging the idea of desert settlements. The objective was to explore the opportunities for urban, architectural and landscape design in such challenging conditions.

Our proposal, neoMESA, looked at the the Outback Oasis in Australia and provided a contextual solution in terms of macro and micro scale. With the Age of Dinosaur Museum in the vicinity, we integrated the landmark with our proposal and looked at amenities for sustenance such as food, culture, circularity and renewable energy. Our investigation was selected among the finalist and exhibited at the Australian Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020.
